A gfreat item for serious Star Wars fans out there, up for sale is a GENUINE vintage Graflex 3 cell flash handle, the base for the lightsaber prop wielded by Luke Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker, and Rey in various Star Wars movies! Ready to be used to build your own genuine prop!
Unlike the ubiquitous replicas, fakes, and knockoffs seen around eBay, this one is the real deal, pulled off a Graflex Speed Graphic press camera and including the original sync cable!
Handle is in very nice vintage condition with light wear and patina to the flash posts, etc. All buttons, including the glass "eye" and red "activation" button are intact . See image closeups for condition details!
Flash base is marked "Manufactured by Graflex Inc Rochester, N.Y. U.S.A. PAT NO 2310165"
NOTE: I've had some questions regarding the machined out portion on the stamped base. According to a veteran photographer who contacted me here, there were some 3 cell end cap batches that were mistakenly stamped inthe Graflex factory as 2 cell models, which had the mistaken designation machined out and presumably a plate with the correct designation inserted before sale. This apparently one of them.
