"A" Level

 
Cooperates consistently with instructor and other class members. Shares ideas, insights, and responses both electronically and in-class. Takes turns talking and listening. Approaches each task with a consistently positive expectation. Brings others in the group up, not down by responding with positive encouragement. Looks for ways to solve problems cooperatively and does not blame or quit.
Approaches ideas and scholarship with superior ethics and responsibility.
Is consistently prepared for class with appropriate assignments, texts, and materials.
Makes their best effort when things are going well and when they are not. Works hard, with consistent effort throughout the entire class.Approaches every major writing with attention to feedback and revision.
Misses no more than two classes, and completes all assignments, regardless of missed class. Student is not late to class on more than two occasions. If the student arrives too late to sign the attendance roster, they are late. Makes all scheduled conferences unless the instructor is notified at least one hour in advance to reschedule. In case of an emergency, contact instructor ASAP.

 
"B" Level

 
Cooperates most of the time with the other group members. Usually takes their turn talking. Usually performs their role in the group. Usually share their insights, ideas, and reflections electronically and in-class. Approaches the task with a positive expectation. Looks for ways to solve problems cooperatively and does not blame or quit. Approaches ideas and scholarship with high ethics and responsibility. Is prepared for class with appropriate assignments, texts, and materials. Makes their best effort. Works hard regardless of the situation or the behavior of the other members of the group. Usually approaches writing with attention to feedback and revision. Misses no more than three classes and completes work regardless of missed classes. Student has more than two late appearances. Makes scheduled conferences unless instructor is notified one hour in advance to reschedule. In case of an emergency, contact instructor ASAP.

 
"C" Level

 
Cooperates with the other group members. Usually takes their turn talking. Shares insights, ideas, and reflections electronically and in-class. Mostly approaches the task with a positive expectation. Recognizes need to solve problems cooperatively. Approaches ideas and scholarship with moderate degree of ethics and responsibility. Usually is prepared for class with appropriate assignments, texts, and materials.
Makes a good effort most of the time. Mostly approaches writing with attention to feedback and revision.
Misses no more than three classes and completes work regardless of missed classes. Student has more than three late appearances. Makes scheduled conferences unless instructor is notified one hour in advance to reschedule. In case of an emergency, contact instructor ASAP.

 
"D" Level

 
Made little effort to be cooperative, take turns, and share insights, ideas, and reflections electronically and in-class. Engaged in negative language or destructive behavior. Gave little participation in group work and rarely helped to solve group problems. Rarely approaches ideas and scholarship ethically and responsibly. Is rarely prepared for class with appropriate assignments, texts, and materials.
Did not make a sincere effort most of the time. Approached writing with little attention to feedback and revision.
Misses no more than four classes and completes work regardless of missed classes. Student has more than three late appearances. Attends some scheduled conferences.

 
"F"
Level


 
Made no effort to be cooperative take turns and share in-class and electronically. Engaged in negative language or destructive behavior. Did not participate in group work. Does not approach ideas and scholarship ethically and responsibly. Is never prepared for class with appropriate assignments, texts, and materials.Did not make an effort at all. Gave no attention to feedback and revision. Misses five or more classes. Regularly misses scheduled conferences without rescheduling.
